Hi I’m Katria Walker
A little bit about me, I have 2 boys with 1 living with a disability, so I understand what it’s like to be a caregiver for someone living with a disability. I have not only worked within the NDIS but I have also been on the other side of it as a formal support for my son. Raising a child with a disability has been extremely rewarding but also challenging when it comes to what I might do if I was the service delivery manager lol. Being a parent working in the industry for the past 20+ years has given me a far better understanding of what its like having support staff in our home and has made me a better manager and support person. In my career I have worked as a casual doing agency work, being a Program coordinator in day options and accommodation Team leader for Supported Independent Living customers. With me I bring all of my experience, leadership skills, understanding of what its like for the participants and families.
Hi my name is Pamela Powell
Most people call me Pami. my area of expertise is working with mental health, with both formal studies and over 20+ years of lived and work experience. I have a strong understanding of the importance of structure and organization. As i have a hyper focus on planning and detail I make a fantastic support coordinator and worker. I have a great sense of pride when the people I support are successful, comfortable and at peace. I have a strong understanding and extensive experience in the continuing struggles of the LGBTQIA+ community.
